The Finds-of-the-Year competition is a yearly event running from January through December. It is open only to club members. Only items may be entered in the competition if found in the previous 12 month period.
There are four categories as follows: coin, jewelry, relic, and other.

Certain guidelines should be followed when entering an item for competition:

Coin Includes items used as money both U.S. and foreign. It also includes tokens or other items used for the same purpose.
Jewelry Items include rings, necklaces, watches, brooches, bracelets, earrings, and other items used for the same purpose.
Relic Can be a variety of items from buttons to bottles to clay marbles. The key to this category is the items should be old.
Other Includes items not fitting in the above categories, such as beach toys, tools, toy cars, etc.

All members, in attendence at the January meeting, are the judges.
