Tidewater Coin and Relic Club Newsletter
August Meeting Starting in July the club meeting will be held at Bayside Library, 936 Independence Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA 23456, and 385-2689. The meeting will still be the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm- 8:30 or 9:00pm with the doors opening at 6:30pm. If you need directions—get off the same Independence Blvd. exit from 264, but instead of turning right onto VA Beach Blvd. stay straight for 2 miles, then turn right onto Honeygrove Road, the library will be on your right. Ina has volunteered to post a reminder sign outside of our old meeting room in the Central Library to help any new members find our new meeting location. Thank you Ina!

The red looser raffle tickets are all done, throw them away now. Thank you to Norm Franz for providing the refreshments for the July meeting. Roy Taylor will provide the snacks for the August meeting. Thank you in advance, Roy! If you have any good metal detecting stories that you would like to share, I would like to include them in the newsletter monthly. Just call me or email me your story, Sherry Ferguson. The fall hunt was briefly discussed during the August meeting. The hunt will be for members only, as always. It will be on October 15th at 29th street at Virginia Beach oceanfront. The cost to members will be $10.00. If you need a rechargeable battery reconditioned then the club members were discussing taking it to Battery Plus on Virginia Beach Blvd, right next to the Gold Mine jewelry store. It cost about $30 or $40, cheaper than buying a new rechargeable battery pack for your machine.
