Spring Hunt
Thank you for all the work at this year's Hunt. Special Thanks to Dean Stacy, Steve Brown and Gene Feierstein. These 3 were responsible for selling all the raffle and 50/50 tickets. 50/50 made over $125. The silver and gold raffles brought in about $400 more. Ina Finn helping at the registration table with Sherry Ferguson also sold $66 in t-shirts, hats & aprons.
There was also another whole crowd who seeded one or more times to get the field ready for the hunt. I hope I do not miss any one but here goes, Norm Franz, John Steffel, Gary Gray, Pat Finn, Nancy Hill, Sue Conard, Susan Deml, Bob Bradford, Jim Doubler, Dan Kistler, and Sam Lattuca. The Hunt was a great success. We had hunters from Delaware, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Mississippi, Ohio, and Virginia. Many good compliments were told personally to me by the competitors and I want to pass them on to everyone who had a part in the hunt. Even with the high gas prices people want to come to our hunt because they know it will be a quality event and they will have an equal chance at getting a token for a better prize.
Second Note: Free gas grill to a good home. Susan & I recently upgraded our gas grill and bought one that runs on natural gas or propane. Our old propane only grill is available on a first come basis. It still has a few years left as I replaced burners and grill about 2 years ago. It comes with an empty tank. Call Bob or Susan at 474-0912, or see us at the next meeting.
