CLUB COIN CLUES FOUND BY NORM FRANZ 5-11-07 Clue #1. Treasure hunting is great in our neck of the woods. Get out a little and explore among the green pines, red oaks, sycamores and redwoods along the way. If you find this road, you also know the name of the park.
OLD BUSINESS Jim Doubler handed out wooden replicas of the state of VA for name tags. Decorate yours and remember to wear a name tag at the meeting or be fined $.25!!!!!!! CLUB HUNT May 19th at Little Creek Amphibious Base. Arrive between 7 – 7:15 AM to set up and registration starts at 8 AM. Remember to volunteer and help wherever. TREASURE CHEST DONATIONS Dean Stacy is heading up the Treasure Chest to be raffled off at the hunt. A lot of great items were donated and the chest is worth between $150.00 to $200.00. Raffle tickets will sell for $5.00 a piece. Good luck!!! Don Britt will supply the showcase box. REFRESHMENT POLICY It was voted on that Club Officers, PR, Librarian, Finds of the Month and raffle sales people will be exempt from providing refreshments unless they want to volunteer. REFRESHMENTS Charlie Adamson will be providing refreshments for June. CLUB PATCH Tony Conard submitted the winning design for the club patch. It is a treasure chest with two detectors. It was the old design that will need update as far as colors and to include our website. www.tc-rc.com Congrats to Tony!!
