NEW MEMBER

Jessie joined our club last night.  His friends call him “Bo”.  He had detected in the 80’s and stopped for awhile and now wants to pick the hobby back up.  He hunts on the beach and land.  Welcome to tc-rc.

OLD BUSINESS

NEW BUSINESS

The Club hunt will be held on Sunday, October 21^st at 2 PM on 30^th street at the Oceanfront.  The cost of the hunt is $10.00 for club members and it was voted that $600.00 out of the treasury be given to Sherry for prizes.  Please have your money in by next meeting on Oct. 9^th.
 

NOMINATING COMMITTEE

Sherry and Gary are accepting names for both positions that need to be filled – President and Treasurer.  If you have a nomination, please call them to place the name on the ballot. 
 

CHRISTMAS PARTY

It was voted that the club have the Christmas party at the Bayside Rec. Center if available due to the size of the group.  Susan Deml will be securing the site and also ordering the meats from Heavenly Ham.  The party will be held on Tuesday, December 11^th.  Everyone is to bring a covered dish.  Sherry will be looking into an organization for a cash donation from the members.  Also, we will be collecting canned food for a food bank.

The club purchased both the DVD and book for the club library.  It was requested that you keep it for one month so that others can view the DVD and the book.   PS - They make a great Christmas gift!!
