September Meeting The Tidewater Coin and Relic Club will meet at the Virginia Beach Central Library on Tuesday,
September 12, 2006 at
7:00 p.m. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Starting in July the club meeting will
be held at Bayside Library, 936 Independence Blvd., Virginia
Beach, VA 23456, and 385-2689.
If you need
directions—get off the same Independence Blvd. exit from 264,
but instead of turning right onto VA Beach Blvd. stay straight
for 2 miles, then turn right onto Honeygrove Road, the library
will be on your right. Ina has volunteered to post a
reminder sign outside of our old meeting room in the Central

The cost for shirts and hats is $10.00, aprons for $6.00, and all three for $25.00. The schedule of events will be Sat. & Sun. 10:00am –6:00pm. If you are interested in participating, please contact Gary Gray at There will be a guest speaker from Batteries Plus. This is a company which specializes in recharging rechargeable batteries. He will be speaking about rechargeable battery maintenance. He will bring his price list if you want him to recharge your rechargeable detector batteries or any other rechargeable battery you own. He says that it even worth recharging cordless drill batteries because he replaces the batteries with stronger cells. He will be at the September meeting at 7:15 or 7:30pm. Fall Hunt The fall hunt is scheduled for October 15, 2006 at 23rd street in Virginia Beach.
